1. Peel off the orange non-slip padding from the underside of the original arch-shaped metallic mount.
2. Unscrew the original Phillips screw that is holding down the o-ring metallic mount base.
3. With the screw removed, one half of the black plastic casing will become loose. Hold the light head upside down to prevent the casing from falling off.
4. Align the Garmin adapter piece along the arch-shaped contour and the screw hole.
5. Secure the adapter piece with the provided hex key and screw.
6. Now, the 9 series light head can be installed on any Garmin-compatible mount.
